To see my latest work, head to my YouTube.com/debrabass channel, but here’s a sample of a few varied pieces.
This took weeks to coordinate, days of Halloween costume shopping and at least a dozen hours of finishing touches, but I love it.
I shot a weekly street style video and this was a cool looking guy I met at a party. I had my iPhone and a mic and we shot this in about 15 minutes, but he was a pro. I wanted to film him doing normal things, so I asked him to fake putting money in a meter. You have to look really close but palms the coin like a magician.
The St. Louis Art Museum asked me to record this introduction to an outdoor film series.
I’m in love with 25 Ways to Wear a Scarf by Wendy Nguyen. This isn’t as fancy, so I tried for funny.
This was a great treat during a cold winter’s New York Fashion Week. Thanks, Morgan Gates!
I did this promo for our bride in a bubble feature in iMovie. Rare case of video being less dramatic than the real thing.
A behind-the-scenes look at one of our spring photo shoots. Loved the colors and it was a perfect day! I have no idea why I sound like I need a shot of espresso in this video. If I were to redo it today, I do jumping jacks or something before I hit the mic.
I shot this video with a tripod in my living room for a story about the Perfect Morning Makeup in 5 Minutes.
