Some problems should be masked

In this feature on cosmetic masks, I came up with a bunch of bad pun headlines, but the copy editors went with something much more straightforward. Whatever. I love a mask, but I don’t do them enough. It feels like an indulgence and we just aren’t hardwired to relax these days.
So I focused on the fact that masks are actually really helpful for a lot of skin ailments or nagging complaints. I got a lot of positive responses from people joking that they felt like 50s housewives or needed to invest in rollers, but the story was shared quite a bit on Twitter and Facebook, so jokes aside, people liked having a license to chill out.
